Употребляем, когда:

действие произошло в прошлом, но имеет результат в настоящем.

говорим о действиях за период времени с к.-л. момента в прошлом до настоящего момента.

 сообщаем новости.

Акцент на результате деятельности.

Вопрос обычно: «что сделал?»

have + Ved/V3

Часто можно задать вопрос:

«how many, how much

  1. We can eat now. I‘ve made us some sandwiches.
  2. The car is OK now. John‘s repaired it.
  3. How many countries have your parents  visited?
  4. How much money has David saved?
  5. My friends have just run 5 km! This team has played at least 30 games.
  6. How many English words have you learnt today?
  7. Dave is a writer. He has written 8 books so far.
  8. How much of that book has Kate read?
  9. Oh, I’m so sorry!! I‘ve just eaten all your chocolates!!!

Present Perfect Continuous

Употребляем, когда:

действие произошло в прошлом, но имеет результат в настоящем.

говорим о действиях за период времени с к.-л. момента прошлого до настоящего момента.

Акцент на самой деятельности, процессе.

Вопрос всегда: «что делал?»

have + been + Ving

Часто можно задать вопрос:

 «how long

  1. 1. I’m so hot. I‘ve been cooking all morning.
  2. 2. My hands are dirty. I‘ve been repairing the car all day.
  3. The children are sweaty. They‘ve been playing football for 5 hours!
  4. Laura is tired. She‘s been writing her book all night.
  5. How long have you been learning English?
  6. Or…How long has Kate been reading that book?
  7. How long have your parents been travelling around the world?
  8. Or…How long has David been saving money?
  9. My friends are out of breath! They have been running.
  10. I am getting fat! I‘ve been eating too much recently!

Имеем в виду, что некоторые глаголы не употребляются

со временами группы Continuous.

Тогда предложение строится в Present Perfect.

(I’ve known Sam for 15 yearsправильно,

I’ve been knowing Sam for 15 years — неправильно.)
